Conway Sisters sex up the X Factor
Sligo viewers of the hit show The X Factor will get their first chance to see the sexy new image of local girl group The Conway Sisters when the live show hits television screens next week.
The Conway Sisters, Laura, Marie, Sinead and Sharon have spent the last number of weeks getting into tip-top shape for the show, which will begin its live television broadcasts on October 15 next.
The determined sisters from Rosses Point have spent weeks in the gym, getting into shape in their effort to wow the studio crowd and more importantly the millions of viewers that will tune in to the show.
Their efforts began when they were picked as part of Simon Cowell’s seven acts. But this had to be whittled down to four and that’s when the sisters decided it was time to stand out from the crowd.
And it has proven to have worked for the girls as they will be performing live on the show when it kicks off next week.
As with Tabby last year, there is bound to be huge interest in the girls from the Point as they are the second act from Sligo to have gotten this far.
The ultimate winner of the show will land a £1 million record deal and Cowell has said that this year’s champ will become an international singing sensation.
The Conway Sisters have been singing together as a group since 2002 and their debut single “What Do You Do” reached the top 10 in the Irish charts.
They played a support slot for Westlife during a tour and also sang at the wedding of Shane and Gillian Filan in 2003.
