THREE Sligo stores were winners at the Londis Retailing Excellence Awards 2009. O’Kelly’s Londis Cleveragh Road, Sligo and Reape’s Londis, Enniscrone were among those selected for a Gold Award, while Londis Grange service station was selected for a Silver Award.
The awards which were announced at the group’s annual conference held at The Heritage Golf and Spa Resort, Killenard. These prestigious awards, hosted by well known TV personality, Grainne Seoige recognise stores that maintain exceptional standards in-store and who received outstanding results during the Retailing Excellence store audits. The stores have consistently focused on delivering exceptional in store standards for the benefit of their customers.
These awards are bestowed on those Londis stores that have excelled in maintaining superior in-store standards across all elements of their business including, but not limited to, customer service, food safety, marketing, off-licence and the fresh fruit and veg category.
